Personally, I think that blaming it on bottle service is silly. Things are going to happen at any venue that serves alcohol whether in bottles at tables or penny pitchers. To make things safer, waitresses and bouncers need to cut people off when they are getting out of control. Also, in general as individuals, we need to be more accountable for our friends when we are out.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. While it's unfortunate that a girl got killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, this is bordering on a witchhunt....

Why don't you have a good tipping award. I tip over 20 percent every time ('cept when service is really bad).
I believe that as individuals not to mention capable human beings, we should be little less than perfectly able to control ourselves and to give aid to our friends if we consider ourselves their true friends. If they have not the better judgement, intellect, or insight to see that one or two drinks is well enough, then they do not deserve the privilige that alchohol is. However, as the national laws permit anyone over the age of 21 to
legally consume alchohol in a public establishment, then we, as their friends, are expected and obligated to assist them in any way possible when they are under the influence of alchohol.
THE PROBLEM IS IN SOCIETY TODAY MOST PPL WANNA BE GANGSTA'S WITH THE ADVENT OF SOCIAL HIP HOP IN THE LAST 5 TO TEN YEARS MEANWHILE THERE WANKSTA'S REALLY THERE IS A "GANG MENTALITY" MY POSSE AND IF YOURE NOT IN MY POSSE YOURE NOBODY....AND OWNERS , BOUNCERS ,,, SEVERS ARE JUST DOING THERE JOB... THE OWNERS AND BOUNCERS CATER TO THIS BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO PISS OFF THE CROWD AND MANY TIMES THE BOUNCERS ARE PART OR HIRED FROM THIS GANG MENTALITY CROWD AND IS "ONE OF THEM" THEY ONLY ALTERNATIVE I CAN THINK OF IS HIRING NYPD BUT NOBODY WANTS THAT ... THE DECLINE OF THE CLUB SCENE TO ME WAS THE CLOSING OF THE SOUND FACTORY "THE LAST BASTION OF A SO CALLED "GUIDO CLUB".......... TODAY THERES JUST TO MANY PEOPLE COMMING IN FROM DIFFERNT SIDES OF THE BLOCK .....OFFCOURSE THERES GOING TO BE TENTION "TROUBLE MIXED WITH ALCOHOL AND HALF DRESSED HONEYS AND MONEY ON THE LINE.........

at any of the venues and you pay no less than a bout a grand for everything when said and done. make sure you tip your host and cover the taxes and gratuity fees for the cocktail waitress and her bus boys.
